About the company

Since Woodruff Construction was established in 1980 we have offered our clients complete construction services including On-Call Services, Job Order Contracting, General Contracting, Construction Manager at Risk, and Design/Build. We have provided construction services for a wide range of clients including tribal entities, government entities, municipalities, universities, medical facilities, manufacturing facilities, retail businesses, service enters, and sales centers.

My role in the company

In February 2024, I assumed the role of Project Manager Assistant at BWC. This multifaceted position entails a diverse range of responsibilities, spanning from the meticulous examination of proposals to active involvement in field operations.

Skills

In this role, collaborative efforts are essential, yet a significant portion of my responsibilities requires independent work. This role has instilled in me a profound sense of self-motivation, particularly when executing tasks autonomously and without direct oversight. Upholding integrity in the accurate reporting of time-sheets and work output stands as a fundamental principle during such independent endeavors.

Furthermore, a critical proficiency I've developed pertains to the interpretation of architectural blueprints and technical documents, crucial for comprehending project requirements and executing tasks effectively.

Effective communication emerges as a cornerstone in fulfilling the demands of this role, as I've learned to prioritize regular and transparent dialogue with supervisors, especially when uncertainties arise.

Prioritizing safety remains paramount throughout all facets of my work. While in the field, I am vigilant in ensuring not only my own well-being but also that of my colleagues and external personnel.
